DC law requires that alcohol permit proprietors be of 'good character'

Faultfinders of Donald Trump have pursued his ethical character in a wide range of ways. This time, they’re going up against his alcohol permit.

Three reverends, two rabbis, and two judges (no, this isn’t the setup to a joke) documented a dissension with the DC alcohol board on Wednesday pushing to disavow the liquor serving benefits of the Trump International Hotel. They assert the foundation’s proprietor (ahem, the President) doesn’t meet the DC law’s necessity of being a “decent character and by and large fit for the duties of licensure.” Click here to read the rest.
