Anonymous class-action complaint filed in federal court against President, Trump Organization

On Monday, four unidentified plaintiffs filed suit against President Donald Trump, the Trump Organization, and three of the president’s children in federal court in Manhattan, claiming that the president and his family received secret payments in exchange for promoting scam business opportunities “that harmed investors, many of whom were unsophisticated and struggling financially.”

The plaintiffs allege in the160-page complaint that they were “conned” by the Trumps into investing “hundreds or thousands of dollars — losses that many experienced as devastating and life-altering” —to three business schemes: ACN, a company that offered sales opportunities to prospective entrepreneurs; the Trump Network, a vitamin marketing enterprise; and the Trump Institute, which allegedly offered “extravagantly priced multiday training seminars” on Trump’s real estate “secrets.” Click here to read the full complaint.
